Peaceful Poppies box using Stampin’ Up! supplies

Today I’ve made a 3D project using the lovely Peaceful Poppies. I’ve decided to do a little mini-series, so I have another card for you in the next post. I just love this suite so much!

So here is my box – I used my upline Sam’s measurements from a post of her’s that’s 6 years old.

The cardstock is 8″ x 11″ (21 x 28cm)

Score on the long side at 1½”, 4¾”, 6¼” and 9½” (4, 12, 16 and 24cm)

Score on the short side at 1½” and 6½” (4 and 17cm)

I’ve used more of the DSP and a different stamp this time. The cardstock is Rich Razzleberry. I’ve added some Wink of Stella to the flowers but you can’t really see it in the photos. I also used Rich Razzleberry blends to colour the flowers. Don’t you think that this project looks completely different to Saturday’s card because the colours are different?

The gold/yellow twine is one of the free Sale-a-bration items that are available for every £45/€60 you spend from now until the end of March.

If you want any more information about this or anything at all to do with Stampin’ Up! please contact me! Back in a couple of days with another card using the Peaceful Poppies suite.

Pootler’s blog hop – Peaceful Poppies from Stampin’ Up!

Yay! It’s time for the Pootler’s blog hop. Please take some time to hop around the other blogs taking part – listed below.

I decided to use the Peaceful Poppies suite for my card. There are actually 2 bundles in this suite, plus DSP, ribbon, sequins and some fab elements.

For this card I used both bundles, Painted Poppies, and Peaceful Moments, which co-ordinate perfectly with each other .

A little tip for you. I didn’t have any Poppy Parade cardstock for the poppies so I used my Blends pen to colour in some Whisper White card to die cut out. I purposely made it a little uneven and I like the look of it.

I used a strip of the lovely DSP to put behind the die cut flowers and leaf. The biggest poppy is popped up on dimensionals, the smaller poppy and leaf I attached directly to the card.

Hope you like it! Don’t forget to hop around the other blogs. If you’d like a catalogue please contact me. Don’t forget it’s Sale-a-bration time too, which means FREE stuff for every £45/€60 you spend.
